Ah, good! I was thinking the ice cream may have been a later scene, but I definitely remember something falling on Tenzil's head!
New question soon!
It'll probably be an easy one as I'm off to the UK in a few days!

Brainy and Kinetix were never each fans of the other. But there was a time when they were buried together for a time.
Who was responsible for them being in such close quarters?

Nope. Dirk did blast Jo, but it was another Legionnaire who got blinded (Jo switched to invulnerability in time to avoid getting seriously hurt)

I'm tryiing to remember which legionnaires were there during the incident.
Just realised that I am getting confused with the initial incident with Dr Regulus (who was blinded) and involved Saturn Girl and XS (?).
The incident at the hospital? mental blank. Just going to have to guess. Ayla?

ah yes, you are remembering correctly. there were two incidents, first was Dirk getting his powers. Second was him fleeing the hospital.
not Ayla either.
hint: this Legionnaire was potentially able to restrain Dirk, even though Dirk was a walking sun at that point

Was it Element Lad? Didn't he give him an intertron-tinged transuit at one point?

yes! ding ding ding
Element Lad was trying to cage Dirk, Dirk blasted and blinded Jan. XS sped Dirk away to Brainy for help, and while Brainy fixed Jan's eyes, Brainy also directed Jan to line a transuit with inertron to help contain Dirk's powers and allow irk to roam free
oh, and Kinetix pushed Brainy so hard that he quit the team... and Violet had to step in to bring him back (by hiring Dr. Gym'll to take the medical load off of Brainy)
also a small continuity error here, or perhaps a misunderstanding. Triad says she hired Gym'll, but Brainy thinks Violet did it. maybe Brainy was mistaken.

maybe Brainy was mistaken. Don't tell Brainy that I can't remember if we've had this one already, but one time Lightning Lord kidnapped Light Lass and he was gonna brainwash her to be EVIILLLL with him. How did Timber Wolf track them down to save her?

I wouldn't dream of telling Brainy he was wrong, after all he invented some kind of mini-Omnicom for Violet as thanks re Lightning Lord kidnapping Light Lass... wait, this wasn't the Supervillain one was it? I remember Timber Wolf hiring a detective, but that was before the kidnapping...

IB: nope, it wasn't that time - I think that detective was one of the JLA descendants that Ivo's robot killed though from memory!
CMK: Close enough that it counts! He got the weather control guys to shut down all the storms so Mekt would stand out the first time he used his powers...over to you!

What object were Legionnaires able to obtain by having a dragon-scarecrow carved into the surface of a planet?

The Green Bell of Uthool is correct! The dragons that plagued that planet were driven off by the sonics of the bell (which, being magical, could be heard in space). It was Batman who suggested a planet-sized scarecrow as a substitute so they could let the Legion (joined later by the JLA and JSA) take the bell off their planet.
I would have accepted just the bell even if the color was wrong, but since Ibby had both right so soon after thoth posted it with the wrong color, I would say next Q to Ibby.

you got it! It always struck me how these two were pretty much the only Legionnaires not there for that final battle (I guess, so they could wrap up the loose end of that one Servant of Darkness)
technically, it was Yera posing as Vi, but I was planning to accept either Vi or Yera anyway (sometimes I struggle to remember when the replacement actually took place!)
Yera-as-Vi actually did get into a lot of action as a Legionnaire, come to think of it

She sure did. I was remembering the scene where she shut down the servant of darkness by blocking blood flow to her brain. That image of her freezing inside the artery is pretty hard to forget. Once I had her I was pretty sure Gim was hanging around too. And yes I thought it was Yera. She may have started out a bit naive and manipulated but she showed she could be a hero in her own right.
When Computo took over Legion HQ Shvaughn Erin was trapped inside with which two legionnaires?
