Wow! EDE's posts solve the energy crisis by making everyone warm just from reading.

Rumour has it that EDE would give the Mad Mod a run for his money in the gear and ginchy stakes too.

Nobody can wear a nelly cap like EDE can! Due mainly to copyright reasons.

Even the specific angle of jauntiness falls under copyright.

I heard there's a gap in the Dulux colour chart, because EDE uses that shade for his own hero HQ, and nowhere else.

And when that shade does get added to the chart, it will be called EDE green!

- and the chart will promptly fall from the wall, creating a spark that engulfs the paint factory. Only then will they realise the real reason EDE green should be kept safe.

Mistaking the global blaze as an attack on its territory, the United Planets launch a full scale war against the Khunds.

The Khunds attempt to couner-attack, only to awaken Mordru by accident.

Across millennia, readers lapse into comas, as the result of a boring Mordru dinner with Rokk Krinn. Recipe books containing pressed elvabird tank in sales.

The decline of elvabird popularity among diners has caused the elvabird population to boom... and elvabirds have evolved to prey on Hykraians.
The last Hykraian, Tellthem, migrates to the Earth-X universe in search of a better life...

A better life, trapped in an eternal WWII Roy Thomas comic on Earth X. Read GI Tellthem! Cheer The All-Aqua Squadron (Aquaman, Tellthem, Tsunami, Neptune Perkins and a drowned Hawkman as Thomas couldn't leave him out)!

Drowned Hawkman is still chairman of the JSA. He gets on particularly well with The Spectre.

Can I just say I've come to hate the Spectre when he's given near-omnipotent powers?
Sure, I enjoyed John Ostrander's 90s Spectre series at the time, but I don't think it holds up well at all.
I've never read Doug Moench's 80s Spectre series. Apparently that one tried to break away from the god-level powers trope. Maybe I'll see if I can find some back issues cheap.
Still "Fickles" to my friends.

There used to be a lot more JSAers. Erased from history by the Spectre for getting the number of sugars wrong in his coffee.

I'm pretty sure that's the plot of Geoff Johns's current storyline!
