Durlan attempts to impersonate sheeple go badly wrong. Let's talk to the citizens.
"I'd never seen a half sheep, half human before. Well, not outside of that club on the Dominion frontier at any rate." - Mr. Slab Hhed
"I'd vote for 'em" - Mrs B'Lot Fhix

They should have impersonated that sheep from Disney’s Zootopia

Disney's anthropomorphic characters are just as creepy.

Not this side of some weird radiation. A Disney character / Mad Max movie is surely a big hit.

There were a bunch of Looney Tunes / DC comics crossovers a while back

I wonder if the Zoo Crew were involved.

A captain Carrot / Bugs Bunny crossover would be epic

There was a Zoo Crew / Wizard of Oz / Alice in Wonderland cross voer, back in the '80s.

That was it. It's one I've not read, and is probably more fun than most things they began to churn out after the late 80s.

While I missed the fun there, I did get the Ambush Bug minis. So I couldn't have been that adverse to some of the funnier bits of DC.

I can imagine a decent number of fans being a bit annoyed seeing a comedy version of their favourites. Although Bug had also made lots of fun at the expense of the Big Three.

Superman and the Subs still acted generally in-character, so I didn't mind
Bugs Bunny and the Preboot Legion (or at least, a Legion resembling the Preboot version) had a crossover too, I also found it funny/

Giffen always said of the JL that he put them back as he got them. Only the scenarios they were in were a lighter in tone.

Leaving Blue Jay the last hero of a dead world! See him travel to Metropolis! Watch him become that city's greatest hero! Wince as he's eaten by a passing cat! Naughty cat!

I remember that scene with Blue Jay shedding a last tear, then flying off
