Hmmm.....is it something to do with their skill set?
I feel like maybe they have all shown some degree of skill with astrophysics? (although I am just going off Star Boy's parents being scientists and Dawnstar having experience flying around in space so it's probably a stretch lol)

huh! I thought for sure Kent would make it.
I'm guessing: heroes with a star somewhere on their costume? And Sun Boy was the other one who almost made it because sun = star
though I am a bit stumped, as to why Kid Quantum I wasn't on the list then, so maybe I am wrong...

Bingo! Ibby has the complete list of 5 and the correct connection. These 5 legionnaires had a single star on their costume. Devlin was the final one.
Some legionnaires have multiple stars or star fields on their costumes (Kent, later Star Boy, Andromeda, M'Onel). Several have a variation on the star with a tail or streak so more a shooting star (XS, Andromeda again). Kid Quantum I fell into this category as his star was a bit lopsided and had a single point longer out to the side but yes he could easily have been included.

oh, I thought it was stars, I got stuck on Star Boy's starfield costume lol! of course, that's why Andromeda and Kent are out!
I was looking at a list of Legionnaires to puzzle it out,and when I saw Devlin I was like, duh he must be one of them, it's so obvious and unarguably a star!
nice connection, stile!! and nice clue-giving too, the clues helped without making the connection too obvious!
