And peers on the team (support staff). I always remember Tenzil literally eating sand. Okay - What are not allowed on Earth on Mondays?

Correct! And Chaim made me spit take my coffee! I figured I'd keep with the Tenzil theme! Over to you, Chaim!

Well, I'll continue the theme - what could possibly make Tenzil fat?

Do you mean other than a ray striking him after bouncing off Superboy's invulnerable hide?

Ah Tenzil. A character with some interesting adventures.
How did his power once allow legionnaires to sneak into an enemy's vicinity?

Did he eat them a tunnel?

Did he eat them a tunnel? He did this once to get away from enemies when the Legion were in concentration camps, but not to get close to them. Did he eat through the walls of their hideout? Not the answer I am looking for.

He ate the bagpipes of doom or whatever they were called, returning him and others right into Evillo's HQ (which would have been his palace)?

It could fit but it is not the incident I am thinking of. In for the running if no-one gets the actual answer. Did he eat through the beehives of the evil drones of the evil Queen Bee? I don't remember this. There was the time when delusional Sun Boy marooned his fellow legionnaires and Tinzel (Is that the Christmas decoration version?) "Tenzil" ate some rocky beehive that revealed honey for the other legionnaires. Is that what you mean? Anyway not what I was thinking of although in the right era.

yeah, I meant that rocky beehive thing. I was joking about the bees being evil I also remember Tenzil eating a way OUT of the Super Stalag, but that was to escape, not infiltrate...

I believe he hollowed out a meteor so that a squad of Legionnaires could hide in it and land on Thoon undetected.

The Science Police were once shown using a "Sensor Autodog" to track down fugitive criminals!
Who were they after?

Autodog sounded golden/ silver age to me. Like the sidekit of Robotman, or the dog the Interplanetary Feline Rascals would run rings around.
So, I'll say...they were after fugitive members of the Legion!

Thoth has the answer I was looking for. The Sensor Autodog was employed to search for the outlawed Legionnaires when Earth was controlled by Universo in Adv. #360.
Perhaps it was reused in the Jamm story?
