It was Gim! In Bouncing Boy's exciting secret origin (which would probably be a 12 part series these days) Cos points out some Legionnaires who are doing solo missions on other worlds, and Colossal Boy was fighting a cool looking red giant who was terrorising what seems to be the Moscow of outer space on the planet Grykk.
