Hmm. I would have to say that pretty much all of my characters depicted adventures occurred while on Earth.
My character's skin colour IS naturally found in Earth humans.
My character was part of a team that was technically based on Earth.

One clarification. I did some checking and although most of my characters depicted adventures are on the planet Earth there is one particular character defining story where heroics performed on another planet play a significant part.

I will also add that while most of his adventures and the team/teams he was part of did technically occur on Earth, they were not in an environment that you would think of when you think of happening on Earth.

Also although he never appeared in a comic titled after himself, he did appear in a series of stories in a type of anthology comic where the series title included a name referring to him.

It is Van-Zee raz! The Superman look-a-like from Kandor who was part of the Superman Emergency Squad and later had several adventures as part of Nightwing and Flamebird, including an ongoing series in Superman Family. One of his big early stories was one where Superman apparently married Lois Lane and lived with her on another world for a while until it was finally revealed that instead of Superman it was Van-Zee standing in for Superman while he was busy and it wasn't Lois Lane but another Earth woman with identical appearance who ended up returning to live in Kandor with him.

I was trying to figure out why he would only sometimes have powers until I remembered Kandor, and then a lot of the other clues made more sense as well! Good pick!
