By faking your death, you don't have to deal with that obnoxious person in your life anymore!

Every day problems. Every day solutions.

By starting a posting trend, you can then sit back and let others do all the work.

Every day problems, every ... something or other...

I need to be more in denial about many things that have happened. Then I wouldn't be so rage-addled all the time.

I tried being in denial about denial. But it was quite scary so I'm now denying I ever tried to be in denial about denial.

Threads was a UK film about survival in a post nuclear exchange world. The Day After was around the same time in the US. I've not seen either.

Armageddon had a sappy ballad for a theme song, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing." It was performed by Aerosmith and went to the top of the charts. In hindsight, the band's lead singer considers it a Faustian bargain.

Yeah, but are you gettin' it? - Armageddon it!
Ooh, really gettin' it? - Yes, Armaggedon it!

From Armageddon It.

I would've loved it if they had. Def Leppard is one of my favorite bands. I think their music holds up the best out of all the 80s metal bands.

Horrible song for a horrible movie! It would have been better if Def Leppard had performed it.

It always bugged me cause Liv Tyler was the female lead for that movie and then her dads band gets tagged to write the theme.

I doubt any band could have saved a Diane Warren song.

Unless you count DeBarge's Rhythm of the Night.

I was told deaf leopard was the name originally put forward by Joe Elliott, but they tweaked it.

That is correct.

Joe Elliott (for those not in the know, he's the lead singer) is my favorite member of Def Leppard. He was the key force behind their only good album since 1987. The all-covers album "Yeah," released in 2005. The song selection is much more tasteful and eclectic than on most all-covers albums.

Weird coincidence. Was just listening to DeBarge's "All This Love" a few days ago. Way less overproduced and treacly than a lot of other ballads from that time.

There's a DeBarge thread of sorts in the Titans forum titled "DeBarge on the T-Barge." I'd be happy to link to it, but I am still entirely reliant on my phone for all my internet needs. Sorry.

EDIT: I just realized, I can bump it!
