That actually fits the plot, where a gold thief takes on the role of a famous, experimental director who makes up the plot of this film within a film on the spot.

I saw it as a kid and 1) the after the fox title song still pops into my head and 2) I'd grow up seeing a lot of films that this one was clearly taking pot shots at. I got to see the parody a lot of years before the film's it was mocking.

One of Britt Ekland's many romantic partners was Rod Stewart. In an interview long after they'd broken up, Stewart drolly recalled how she encouraged him to be androgynous -- "I looked a right tart."

Korean-pop idols are often described as androgynous, and many find them attractive

Even though I usually dislike Coldplay, I loved their recent team-up with Korean supergroup BTS, My Universe.

I'm not sure if I've ever eaten Korean food. I like Indian food, some Chinese, a little bit of Japanese.

The Korean food you can get in this part of the U.S. is fabulous. But it would be a rough go for anyone trying to be vegan or even vegetarian. Lots and LOTS of grilled meats and fish.

One of the most interesting Korean dishes I ever had was a street food/snack of cylindrical pasta which was very spongy, so kind of a fresh bread-pasta fusion. It was dunked in a mind-blowingly (to a White Yankee) thick and spicy red pepper sauce. So even though it was delicious, I could only eat a few bites.

Wow. Now I wish I lived in the Northwest instead of the Southeast. Not much Korean food of any kind here, although as Korean culture continues to grow across America, that'll probably change soon.

Kimchee has become very popular here. You can even find some bar 'n grill places which will put it on a hot dog for you, instead of kraut. I feel like that's more salt than I need in one meal, but I do love it as an accompaniment to all those wonderful grilled things. There's usually a large assortment of spicy/salty/sour pickles brought to your table to accompany the animal protein. And you grill said protein at the table yourself.

I unfortunately never liked kimchi, not really a fan of sour tastes. I much prefer Japanese seaweed salad

I'm a big fan of kimchi.

What's kind of taken over in our house right now is Onigiri - fun to make, fun to eat, and really good if you make the rice properly.

I have a soft spot for okonomiyaki myself - my man loves it too, ever since we tried it the first time he's been wanting more tongue

I don't think I've tried that yet.

We have a decent sized Korean population where I live, so a lot of those options are around, especially Korean BBQ and bakeries.

The fried chicken is the other big thing around here.

We also have a few other things - like an asian fondue/hotpot which I think is more Chinese than Korean. But still tasty!!!

sigh I'm hardly eating any deep-fried things these days. They just don't agree with me anymore. shake

Pan-frying is still good, though. I might fix some pan-fried daikon cakes for brunch this Sunday or next.

Sometimes I'm very crabby. But over the years, I've taught myself to stay out of the forums when I'm feeling that way.
