My child of local Egyptian deity preferred to have a nap in the garden today, rather than go for a walk around the church yard.

Another Legion World thread with puns. There's a turnip for the books.

Due to the current economic crisis, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice.

In one classic Uncle Scrooge story, the only thing in his yacht's pantry is cabbage, because it's cheap.

I have an uncle who is also very cheap. But unlike Uncle Scrooge, I would not call him wealthy.
This cheap uncle is the kind who will try and take home bedding, towels, blankets provided by the hotel he stays in...

You'd think the hotel would spot the removal men taking everything out of the room.

Ah if only that professor from the Uncle Scrooge story had perfected his device to remove the stink of cooking cabbage instead of a device to turn people in to stone. (You can see how someone would get those two mixed up.)

Stone Boy did a cover of Turn to Stone once. Accompanied by Reboot villain Stheno. Sadly, the audience did not get to listen to it... :Stheno:
