I was listening to a podcast, wher the central character's life turns out to be a construct following his release from cryogenic suspension.

If you just change construct to contest, you get a good description of these threads.

The "Guess Which Earth Gets Killed First", which the Monitors and Anti-Monitors and all those big bad universe-breaking characters DC creates every Crisis, place bets on which of the 520000 universes will be consumed by anti-matter / eternal darkness first!

If I use the random number generator online it tells me Earth 447435 is next to go.

We should try to be more positive. Think, for example, of how the Legion movie could've been handed off to the creative team which gave us *Cats*. But it wasn't!!

Fat Cramer alone could squash most of the opposition!

...And now I'm reminded how this house just ain't no home without El Sid. We have to board him at a cat hotel for several days while our roof gets its long-overdue replacement.

Poor El Sid. If only there was a way to tell them that it was only for a week, and that they were just as loved.

It's very luxurious. There's even air conditioning, which is more than we've got at home.

It's not a good look, when your cat has their claws digging into each side of the cattery door, wanting to stay there.

Lucky for us, the temperature is dropping back to normal now, after about four days. Most of June was very cool and rainy. A throwback to the early summers of 20-30 years ago.

I'm happy to be out away from a desk. Rain's fine by me. Although I did realise yesterday that my shoe was letting in water. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3gasxv
