Was she mentioned in the Omnicom article relating to Tinya in the issue we learn she was killed in v4 ? Yes! That's actually the exact answer I was looking for as the name Winema Wazzo first appears in a LSH title in LSH v4 #2 in the first Omnicom article about Tinya. I also would have accepted DC Secret Origins #42, which came out just a few months before. That actually has an illustrated story, also written by the Bierbaums, that is the true first appearance of Winema in the DCU. I had to double check, as I originally thought the Secret Origins came out AFTER the new LSH. Over to you thoth!

Secret Origins was going to be my next guess. I had just read an article on the series, and spotted Tinya was one of them. New Q soon.

That pest Clark Kent is forever trying to prove that Lois Lane is Krypton Girl. How did Lois manage to save a ship, while she was standing right next to clark?
Bonus points, for anyone who can also guess how Lois solved the problem of Clark's guessing once and for all.

You'd be surprised where some guessing takes you.

Well, just as a SWAG, I'd guess that the Lois next to him was a robot while the real Krypton Girl saved the day if this is supposed to be an elsewords flip on SB.

I think I have read this if this was one of those Silver Age Lois Lane comics (which were pretty crazy and even crazier now looking back on them) but I am also getting it confused with another one where Superman gave Lois temporary powers while he was "away" and then kept pestering her as Clark Kent to "discover" her secret identity. In that one Clark finally succeeds when Lois has to change in front of him to save someone but promptly falls on her face as her powers have worn off, leaving Clark/Superman the quandary of how to save the someone without himself giving away his secret.
Well since this is Legion trivia did she summon the Legion to help her?

Okay, I think I have this. Thank god for hotel/in-flight Wifi, so I can look for this stuff instead of, you know, actual work. So the answer is this, from Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane #47: Night Girl from the subs, knows that Krypton Girl is in a pickle, so she comes to the past, disguises herself as Krypton Girl, and takes care of business, cause its happening at night, so she has super strength. Later, Lois puts Clark in the Phantom Zone! Super cold hearted, but I had to laugh!

Gaseous Lad gets it!
He loses points for having peeked, mind, rather than be led to the answer through Silver Age hijinks.
It was a good story. I could see Morrison moning it for his Earth 2 graphic novel.
Over to you GL!

Ah, I apologize again!
Let's try this, and I hopefully won't mess this up:
Which Legionnaires did NOT get a costume upgrade at the end of the v3 run (i.e., Magic Wars)?

Well, technically Shady and Mon-El were on leave at that point.
And another hint, as I count it, I think there are four.

Block actually had a slight costume change (more normal pants and a utility belt) The other three also had different costumes from how that run started.

I knew I'd get something goofed somewhere, as Tellus DOES fir that category, but I hadn't thought of him for the question, therefore any four of the five will work to win.
So to that effect, Ibby had one correct and Thoth had 3 (including Tellus, obviously)

That'll do Thoth! So Thoth's list is:
Dream Girl Tellus Wildfire Brainiac 5
The other I would have accepted was Mysa/White Witch.
All of those characters did not have a big, shoulder-paddy costume with logo badges. Wildfire was a reversion back to his prior outfit, so I'm not counting that as a "new". Brainy wasn't around, Tellus doesn't really wear any uniform, and Dreamy was, um, with Atmos...
