That's what my memory cell tells me too. Was it the dodgily titled Shagrek?

I was going to guess Khunds. But then thought they were more a v4 thing.

Yes! It was the Ghosts of the past issue from v3 where Jacques researches an untold tale of Lyle helping Condo prior to his i induction to the Legion. Issue 59 I think.

The little bugger was Quanto!

Back to Thoth!

That sounds a bit familiar. Was it something they used on Takron-Galtos for prisoner rehabilitation?

Stile has it. It was used on Uli Algor on Takron Galtos, but didn't quite stick.
Over to you stile!

I remember that, and then she goes attacking the Legion and putting four of them (founders + Lydda) in the hospital!

Ah, that was the "Zap goes the Legion" story. It's interesting to see how ethics change over time. Try to tell a story these days that involves "reforming" a criminal by using a machine to permanently change their mind and it would be seen as a horrific attack on individual free will. Yet the Silver Age had quite a number of these as just and righteous actions.

In a similar vein which major character in FYL was reformed and what was the "turning point" for them?

Close enough. Yes it was Mekt and from one of the text pages at the end of LSH v4 #3 "the turning point was when I realised the people I was trying the hardest to hurt were the people who loved me the most."

Your turn Ibby.

Hmmm... I'm gonna swing at a complete guess.

Dream Girl, hand to hand combat watching Karate Kid.

Use Brainy's force-field belt. Wasn't it to hold back some lightning beasts near the hydro plant at Niagara Falls? Dreamy even made the semi-sarcastic comment to someone (Ayla?) that hadn't they learned how to use his belt after watching him all these years.

you got it! And indeed, Nura made the snippy remark to Ayla - you can see the panel here!

Ah that was part of the lead up to the Universo plot, with Universo undermining the existing UP President and Science Police. Good memories.

When did Chameleon Boy use a plastic mask to disguise himself instead of using his power?

Can't think of an instance, unfortunately.

I'm trying to think of situations where Cham would want to do this, but I'm still drawing a blank as to when he did it.

He lost his powers a couple of times...

Oh wait, did he wear a plastic Superboy/ Clark mask to pretend he was Clark/Superboy in one of those early Legion stories?

Good try Thoth but no again he used his powers there.

Hint: This is from a classic story and he wasn't the only one to use a plastic mask.
Hint 2: The previous Trivia question has a connection to this story.
