It was confirmed on Twitter about an hour ago that Derrick Wyatt, the character designer for the Legion cartoon, passed away. This isn't the best of news to share, but please bare with me. I was informed by Derrick's sister that he has unexpectedly passed away earlier this month. There will be a more information from his family in the future, but for now I just want to let people know.

Last year when Derrick did that fat Garth commission for me, it was an escape I needed from my Grandpa's dwindling health and eventual death.
If it hadn't been for the Legion cartoon I wouldn't have reached out to the LOSH fans on fanfiction.net, and eventually migrated to here.
That cartoon gave me a lot.

Damn.
I was double checking something Instagram and I saw the last time I spoke to Derrick was on November 29th. I was asking him about the other artists who worked on the cartoon. I didn't realize it was so close to when he passed away.
I don't know how to feel about this.
