Word of warning: This thread will not allow negative or snarky comments. Please don't comment in this thread if you have nothing nice to say. There's plenty of other threads for that type of commentary. I will move any posts that has negative undertones.
There was a lot of stuff coming out the last week or so about the upcoming Legion appearances. But I was so sick of the responses here, I just couldn't bring myself to post any of it here. I was literally on my Twitter at the same time that Bendis was posting images, etc. and was about to come here and share it and then stopped myself and asked what was the point? No one here cares or would just post nothing but snarky comments. And so, I didn't do what I wanted to do.
Then this week, I resented that. I was pissed, actually. Why can't I post here about something I'm looking forward to a message board that I own? Especially news about the Legion! So, I've decided to make this thread and enforce my rules on it.
now, re Gold Lantern in the middle - he's also in a bit of a fetal position. Is he torn apart by the battle? Has he tried to stop them, but it didn't work? Are outside forces making the Legion and League fight, and Gold Lantern is resisting them?

I'm really enjoying Godlewski's art in this series. I'll say this about Bendis - he gets great artists to draw his stories, and I'm glad to have exposure to these folks.

LEGION!
EXCLUSIVE! The cover to DC’s JUSTICE LEAGUE V LEGION OF SUPERHEROES issue six by the amazing Scott Godlewski. I said old school Contest of champions and he gave us old school Contest of champions.
Speaking of LEGION OF SUPERHEROES, I just handed in the second draft of the Legion pilot to HBO max. I had a blast doing it. It was all the right kinds of challenging. Will it get made? Hey, its show business! Anything can happen. It is now in the Warner’s machine. Today I feel a tiny window of actual accomplishment so I thought I would share.

It does really look like he's doing the shurg! Now I want a bunch of out of context pictures of Legionnaires in weird postures and make it look like a dance party!

There's a lot going on in that Give Batman the Ring page - the Trips reunited, Jo hurt, Ollie hurt (?), Superboy appealing, Brainy appeasing, others angry, some confused. A wider range of emotions than we tend to get in a group page.
We were told before that it was due to the artist not being able to meet the deadlines and Bendis' desire not to have a fill-in, so I suspect that's still the case.
I don't think it is the only book delayed. Nor is it just DC.
Marvel recently announced that of their previously scheduled books for August, 36 (!) will be delayed until September including several of their summer event crossovers, 2 until October and 3 until November.
not sure why as they don't say but it does look weird.
So anyway it may not be just Bendis or the artist.
