Nope - so for clarification, there was a time when the Legion HQ had a "Hall of Heroes" that included non-dead Legionnaires. But thoth's answer gets the creativity prize!

Exhibit Q from a nearby hall.... Holy Grife! Well this is a quandary, as she is certainly not who I was thinking of, as it was a mainstream Legionnaire (not an alternate future) - so Thoth is technically correct, but not the Legionnaire who has existed consistently for 60 years. So what to do?

as thoth is technically correct, I suggest giving him the next Q though for fun, we could still try to guess the long-standing Legionnaire who had a misspelling and if thoth does not mind, we could defer his question until we guess the Legionnaire you had in mind. just my two cents. as for the unlucky misspelled... Matter-Eater Lad perhaps?

Although I got the/an answer for this, it was a really good question. I'd been squirreling that bit of info away for an aside in something for Bits.

Was Projectra one of them, and it involved pretending to destroy a planet?

You would think we would all remember something this cataclysmic.

Would this be that Controller Sun-Eater factory planet? Would the two considered responsible have been Element Lad and Ultra Boy, Element Lad transforming a rock into some sort of reactive material, and Ultra Boy throwing it at the planet?

ooh I think that might be it! It was a planet, but an uninhabited one - which tends not to stick so much in memory!

Was Projectra one of them, and it involved pretending to destroy a planet? This one was definitely a proper place going boom. You would think we would all remember something this cataclysmic.
Star Boy and Sun Boy? Neither of those, although if you were picking two, these would be up there. Although the actual destruction was doen right at the end, it was a key bit of the story. Would this be that Controller Sun-Eater factory planet? Would the two considered responsible have been Element Lad and Ultra Boy, Element Lad transforming a rock into some sort of reactive material, and Ultra Boy throwing it at the planet? Because this is the correct answer. The Legionnaires felt they *had* to clow it up to prevent The Controller simply rebuilding further weapons of galactic destrucion. This team up showing just how devestating the Legion could be. ooh I think that might be it! It was a planet, but an uninhabited one - which tends not to stick so much in memory! Agreed. No evacuation of lif forms (I'm fairly sure Ultra Boy took a peek to check), so no worrying aobut saving them or rehoming them. Over to you Chaim!

I know Orsde was mentioned as a UP member world (or was it AP?) in the Reboot Legion Secret files, but I'm struggling to remember an actual story reference...
random guess: Spider-Girl?
