We did birthday pie instead of cake, thus re-igniting the old cake vs pie debate. Funnily enough, even before you posted that, I'd already been thinking of doing pie instead of cake for my birthday next year. Great minds and all that.

There was the supporting character on Drop Dead Diva who got rich selling "Pakes," which were pie shells filled with cake. But I think people were doing that for eons in Pennsylvania Dutch country long before anyone had TV to watch.

I got a kitten, a jump rope (for exercise) and a container of play-dough (to re-ignite lost childhood memories, or something like that). Got myself the Catwoman of East End Omnibus. It's like I'm 7 years old (but have to pay for car insurance).
