We all know Mordru is a dark powerhouse. But "the dark side of comics" has their own Sorcerer Supreme of Evil.

If they fought, who'd win? Here are the rules:

It's the Pre-Crisis Mordru vs. the Silver Age/ Lee&Ditko Dormammu; Mordru is at full power, having just stripped Sorcerers' World of it's magic; The battle takes place in the Dark Dimension, giving Dormammu access to his full might; and, of course Dormammu would never permit anybody to interfere: this includes the Mindless Ones.

Okay, I voted for Dormammu. While Mordru is one of the 15 most powerful beings of the Pre-Crisis DCU, Dormammu is smarter, has got more will-power, spiritual might, and slightly more magiccal power, too.

I voted for Mordru. Seemed to me that it always required a full team of super powered heroes to take him down whereas Dr Strange often dealt with Dormammu on his own or with one or two others.

Yes, certainly. But Dr. Strange is the most powerful super hero of all, don't forget that.

Remember how he single-handly beat Dr. StrangeFate, though Strange was in his Astral Form, meaning he had but a fraction of his full power to bring into play? Yet he whipped StrangeFate-- the same SF who owned the JLA & X-Men in less then a minute.

Even more to the point, Dr Stange created the second Amalgam Universe!!

Strange is far, far more powerful then characters such as Thanos, Supes, Hal Jordan or the Spectre. Honest, being beaten by him is no shame at all.
