I am not copying the whole interview, but MAJOR spoilers on the new Dan Didio column at Newsarama. Nothing on ADV yet, but Geoff is off Action (that will become a Nightwing and Flamebird book). WTF??? On the other hand, he will write a new miniseries on yet another origin for Superman... Boooore.... More in here.

Another origen for Superman?
What's so hard. Planet blows up. Parents stuff him into a rocket to a nice farming couple. Saves the world.
Nothing to mess with there???
Next John's plans to rewrite Hamlet.

guys. guys guys!! read between the lines!! by "new origin" they mean "SUPERBOY"!!! and THEN!!! then?!! "SUPERBOY HUNG OUT WITH THE LEGION"!!
we're having a crisis so that means superman's origin gets updated, simple as that. i honestly don't think he'll stray too much from "rocket baby" origin. but there are certain things that need cleaned up to be more solid. that waid/lenil yu story still left some things that didn't all roll over into continuity.
what was his and lana's relationship like? DID HE GROW UP WITH LEX OR NOT? LEGION? where did krypto come from...? that sort of stuff.
i don't really care about superman in action comics i mean... it's not like superman doesn't have ANOTHER BOOK called SUPERMAN. (and then another book called 'superman and batman are BFFs forever and ever'). a very darling friend of mine put forth that conner might be nightwing (TTK?!).

I started reading action again for the first time since Weiringo with Geoff writing it. I'll drop it again when he's gone.

If Geoff Johns moves from Action to Adventure would that still merit a raspberry?
"Our devotion to each other was unexplainable" "You were kids" "No Batman, we were Legion"

Not for Geoff writing Legion, but yes for cancelling Nightwing, a book that was just getting good again...especially in light of his desire to off the character. He isn't Batman, he's his own character.
Yes for cancelling BoP, one of the consistently best books out there.
Yes for "Flamebird and Nightwing". The character had not been used in years. Grayson makes it a good character, and they dump 150 issues for that? yes.
For re-confusing the Hawkman issue...yes.
For letting folks drive Dixon off, if he didn't do it specifically, yes.
For Countdown...most emphatically yes...
The list grows.
Rich Johnston may love him and take every opportunity (Sp?) to brown nose him, but for me, a raspberry is being very very nice.

Rickshaw1, it is not Batman's Nightwing. It's another Nightwing. In fact, Nightwing Grayson is very likely to come back later on after that Battle to The Cowl sorta thing. And Johns on Adventure Comics does not make Action Comics any better. The only good thing to come out of this mess is James Robinson on Superman.

As soon as I read the TTK, I thought, "oh no, please God no." The ONE redeaming feature of S-Prime Boy was his dismissal of Clone-El.

The only good thing to come out of this mess is James Robinson on Superman. Its a matter of personal taste, lol. Nightwing and flamebird was a fun silver age read. I had quite a few of them, but this interuption of the momentum that Grayson was building with Tomasi and Kramer is a disappointment. Quite a few of the nightwing fans waited for years for the book to get good, and when it finally does, Didio pulls this lame switch. As for Johns on Action...yes, it did make it better. I honestly couldn't stand to read superman for years, after not missing an issue since Byrne's run. But the bloated stories and bloated mangaesque bodies really turned me off. I saw Geoff on legion and took a chance. It payed off. Maybe Dick Grayson will return to the nightwing persona after Bruce is back (no one really thinks hes gone for good), but we will be starting anew and that pretty much bites, in my opinion, lol. And thats all they are, is my opinions. they aren't facts, and i don't claim that they are.

There's nothing in the text that says Geoff's off Action for good. To the contrary it read to me as if the arc were intended for Action, but it was decided it be done in a limited series instead. Presumably, until we're told otherwise, Geoff will return after the LS is completed. Certainly, there's nothing definitively that says he won't, so far.
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Young Justice rocked ten different ways, and the interactions between Conner, Tim and Bart were a huge part of that.

I kneejerk loathe 'derivative' characters, but some, like She-Hulk and Conner Kent, occasionally make me break that rule.
