In the past few years, it's become almost common practice for DC and Marvel to ressurect dead heroes with no end in sight. The cynic in me sees this as a way of taking advantage of all available licenses for toy/entertainment tie-ins. The comics geek in me is mostly turned OFF by this direction. But that's enough about me - what do you all think? GO ON IN & VOTE!
(and, yes, I know I probably missed some resurrected souls)

I wish there were more choices.
Some I haven't read the comeback story and some I didn't even know had died. Others, I didn't think the story was "amazing" but am happy the character is back.

Great idea for a poll, Andy.
Surprised at how much resistance there is to Hal Jordan and Lady Quark's returns, I'm very happy they're both back.
Relieved that people seem to favor Metamorpho's return, I've always liked him a lot and have never understood why DC keeps killing him -- don't they get it yet? We love Rex!!

Just what happened to Colossus, Jean Grey and the others chosen in the poll?

I voted to let the characters I knew very little about (Marvel mostly) to remain dead. Not surprising that Hawkman's return has been the most popular, though I also am a big fan of his son, so I voted for Hector too.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

The one that irritates me the most is Colossus. Pure writer ego and editorial impotence, erasing the only X-men story that had any emotional impact in the past 15 years.
Would have said the same of Jean Grey in '86 but these days she's been dead so many times she should have plenty of Frequent Dier Miles for a free trip outta the afterlife next time.
Wolverine could decapitate her while mind controlled by some villain and she'd show up on the next page having used her points to come back.
