It's true! Can you believe it!!?? I have been nominated for an Eisner in Best Coloring, for my work on Atomic Robo. I found out Thursday night, and I've been busting a gut waiting for the official announcement today so I could tell all my Legion friends! My competition is fierce and the odds of my winning is a real long shot, but I'm still so thrilled to be nominated! I actually did a happy dance! Anyone care to join me at the awards ceremony in San Diego?

Oh yeah, I've also been nominated for a Shuster, which is a Canadian comic award, in the category of best colorist. As excited as I was about that, it was kind of eclipsed by the Eisner news!

Wow! Congrats, that is great news (and yeah, the Eisner kinda eclipses all).
I wish I could go to San Diego to cheer you on (and for, you know, the convention).
Best of Luck!

Who's the competition?
Better yet, who votes?
We might know someone that knows someone that could make sure this award gets properly placed onto your mantle.
Don't mess with LMBPs.
Congratulations, well deserved nomination and good luck!

Steve Hamaker, Bone, vols. 5 and 6 (Scholastic); Shazam: Monster Society of Evil (DC) Bone? BONE? He's ALL white? I could color Bone. Richard Isanove, Dark Tower: Too Dark. Dave Stewart, BPRD, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cut, Hellboy, Lobster Johnson, The Umbrella Academy (Dark Horse); The Spirit (DC) Obviously can't keep a job. Alex Wald, Shaolin Cowboy (Burlyman) Easily confused for Alex Waid, no one will vote for him this year. This is in the bag.

Well deserved nomination IMHO. Colorists can make a break a book and you have consistently been spectacular at what you do! Heck, you get me to pick up books I would never think of buying because you did the colors. Good luck &

Someone needs to tell them to rent a bigger room for this year's awards. And notify the SDPD of a potential noise ordinance violation when Ronda wins and all of LW starts cheering. Congrats Ronda! Well, and long, deserved!
