As some of you know, I'm a reporter for The Sun Chronicle, a daily newspaper in Attleboro, Mass.

I'm working on a story - hopefully for Saturday - about how local Star Trek fans feel about Enterprise being canceled, and the campaign to save the franchise.

If any of you know Trek fans who live or work or have roots near Attleboro, and who wouldn't mind answering a few questions, please send me a note. My deadline is Friday afternoon.

Thanks,

Mike

Might be worth trying here - http://www.tvshowboards.com/startrek/ - and a general search for Trek MBs

My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.

And to keep this on-topic in the GYM'LL forum, does anybody remember the old Gold Key STAR TREK comic?

I had a couple of issues when I was LITTLE-little. (And yes, I once WAS little-little! mad lol ) Wouldn't mind still having them, they'd bring a pretty ransom on eBay if they were in any kind of shape! lol

www.trekbbs.com is another trek board. I used to post there, but there's too many crabby people.

I still have a bunch of those. Some of them were pretty good.

Some indie house got the rights and have been putting them out in trade paperbacks. Two so far.

Pov-

I actually have a few late 70s-era trade paperbacks, collecting about six issues each, plus new 6-8 page special features.

These trades were actually done while the series was being published, on newsprint paper. While aged, they remain in pretty good shape.

I was actually thinking of putting them on eBay.
