Hey everyone,

The Eagle Awards is UK's longest running and most respected awards for comics. Nominations for the awards are made by a panel of UK industry experts, and fans get to vote and determine the final results.

Silverbulletcomicbooks.com is hosting the online voting, which I believe lasts until the end of September (with results being announced in November).

For all those interested in voting, here's a link:

I'll shamelessly campaign SBC.com for the "Best
Website category" (that's the website I write reviews and other features for), but of course, if you find one of the other two website nominees more worthy of the award, vote your conscience. smile

In any case, SBC.com asks that you submit your name and email address when you cast your ballot. This is not to burden you with more junk email or put you on some spam list, but to fend off any accusations of ballot fraud. You see, because SBC.com is both the host of the Eagle Awards as well as one of its nominees, if SBC.com DOES win the "Best Website" award, the other two nominees may denounce the voting as rigged. If SBC.com has a legitimate name and email address attached to every vote, however, it becomes easier for those accusations to be shot down.
