The hype has started, it's in August's issue of Previews, yep, Civil Wardrobe is on it's way. I've already posted a sneak peak at my page from the comic over a Bits a little while back, but in case you missed it Civil Wardrobe is written by Rich Johnston (of Lying In The Gutter infamy) and is drawn by a whole load of artists, including the likes of Fred Hembeck, Frazer Irving, Lea Hernandez and many more. There is an official site ( www.civil-wardrobe.com ) but there have been various articles and such including this one which includes the preview pages that have been released officially (as well as Rich's comment about Jailbait Avengers, my page, which made me very pleased). So obviously I'm pimping it here a little because... well, I want everyone to see it but if you like fun, silly comics that ever so slightly take the mick out of the current comics industry (it's not just Civil War that gets some stick) then check it out. It'll be worth it, believe me. Oh, and in case you missed it here's my page again:

Bumping this up slightly so as to remind people it comes out in October, but also to say I have just seen Frazer Irving's page.
Hot damn.
Frazer is *the* next big thing in comics. And very cute to boot. But really, his page is fabulous. Not sure if Rich'll release it before the comic comes out but it's ever so nice.

Lettering by Thomas Mauer as well, I should point out. He told me that this was the one logo that he as really dreading but it actually turned ut to be fun to do. lad he did the lettering though because for my first proper pro work while I'm happy with my skills as a penciller and inker my lettering skills still leave something to be desired...

Just got it this week. This was fun. A framing story, in which four geeky fanboys declare war on what's wrong with comics, are immediately exterminated, George Bush declares an emergency Decompression Act, and Tony Stark goes on to try and find new interpretations for Marvel characters. The splash pages are various artists' proposals. In addition to the Jailbait Avengers, Nick Fury in a dress, the Fantastic Foursome, White Flight, Iron Manufacturer...they were pretty funny. A few good digs at DC at the end, too.
Holy Cats of Egypt!
