The really funny thing about this is that I remember as kid reading Secret Wars thinking how fun it would be to get a bunch of friends together and act it out.

I'll only play if I get to be Magneto. Also I wanna pick who plays Wasp for when I put the moves on her.
I also want to change the script in that scene a little.

You know Magneto was who I wanted to be as a kid.
I'm not sure who I'd pick now.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've even read the story for twenty years.

Somehow I don't think that's what Tamper Lad had in mind...

Heh, that was hilarious. If I did that I'd probably be Nightcrawler or The Human Torch.

It's a funny clip, but I wouldn't be interested. I don't like Secret Wars.
Now, if there was an Operation Galactic Storm Re-Enactment Society... (I'd be Dr. Minerva. I've always wanted to make that creepy speech of hers from the end of Operation Galactic Storm: "Oh, you will fear them.")

Evidently the only young woman amongst the native population. She has healing powers allowing her to save our heroes. In doing so she will attract dueling affections of two hot-headed young heroes before choosing one of them. But then she dies adding emotional weight to our action packed story.

Stealth, I'd give anything to be the Black Knight in an Operation: Galactic Storm re-enactment!

Now that O: GS is available in TPB, hopefully it'll be rediscovered by a wider audience. It really is a great superhero space opera, it's what The Kree-Skrull War might have been if Neal Adams hadn't quit when The Kree-Skrull War was only half-finished.

LOL! That's so cool. But the really tragic thing is watching it I just sat there and thought 'that's such a cool ide, where can I find some geeks to play like that with?'

Kay, All we need is Doom, Enchantress and Galactus. Plus add we gotta have Wolverine, Iron Man and Captain America and Mr. Fantastic. I'm still undecided over who I want to play Wasp (It might have to be an outsider, LW is notoriously thin on candidates (ie flaky females).
