I like that the monkey has apparently joined the leopard pack, too.

His super-code-name was Monkey-Leopard, the simian of speed!

My first exposure to "THE BRIDE OF JUNGLE JIMMY" was in one of those oversized FRED HEMBECK collections back in the day (I still proudly own them all). Hembeck's reproduction of this cover is quite amusing! Of course, he didn't have to change a thing about it, nor did he.

Come to think of it, it was probably from Hembeck that the notion that comic books-- especially silver-age, DC ones-- were ridiculous (in a GOOD way) was first put in my underage noggin.

Both these series better be coming out as Showcase Presents:

DC would be fools not to.
