I am always a fan of issues where the Legion just hangs out with each other. I feel like there's less of that casual camaraderie in super hero comics these days. I think I blame the shrinking page counts.
The repeat swimsuit wearer is not Ultra Boy -- I think. There's an unidentified brown-haired male swimsuit wearer in #8, who I'm pretty sure is Lyle, but, looking again, I guess he could be Jo. If it is Jo, there are two characters who wear swimsuits in both issues.

I have to agree. My favorite teams are the ones who act like they're not just teammates, but friends.
I now clearly recall the first page panel of issue 8, because I'm pretty sure swimsuits only appeared in the first two pages there. If it wasn't Jo, I think the brown-haired male you're referring to was Leviathan/Gim, because his trunks were in a red/white/blue pattern, like his costume. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Lyle, I remember him in costume seeing Brainy and company off to Colu.
I am now pretty sure that the Legionnaire who wore swimsuits in both issues was... Triad!

Yes! And I think you're right about it being Leviathan too. The next question is yours.

Thanks! I'll post a new one soon. And thanks for stirring up some pleasant memories of the SW6 team. I had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed that version of the team!

Post Zero Hour Shvaughn Erin was once interviewed by journalist Brad Majors. He read a list of Legionnaires, and for each, asked her to say the first word that came into her mind.
Which Legionnaires did elicited the following responses?
a) Trustworthy b) Self-Controlling c) Naive d) More naive e) Pass

Still 2/5 right. The interview took place after Andromeda's tenure.

Superboy? I know in the Silver Age stories it was often shown that he could speak several Earth languages.

Nope!
The term was used in one Legion story, in which it is a major plot element, but it's closely connected to a concept that appears frequently throughout pretty much every incarnation of the team, and has had at least some currency in the DCU beyond the Legion.

Nope.
While the Qu does not stand for "Querl", the CAIn-QuEx is something very important for Mr. Dox.
