Here we are in the second thread, not even four months after starting. Here are Lance's rules from the original thread: Originally posted by lancesrealm: Here is a new game I thought I would try out. Just like the "I'm thinking of an animal" thread, posters ask yes-or-no question to find out what city/town/village I am thinking of. This should give us all a chance to beef up our geography, huh?
There are only a few rules:
1) Questions should be of the "yes or no" variety.
2) Try to make the towns something that is visible on a map. A fishing village of 3 Innuit might be too small, for example.
Ok, off we go...try to guess...
Where am I? Quis gave the last correct answer, so it's his turn to be somewhere. Where are ya, Quis? Are you in the Americas?

I am in Canada. So that also answers the questions about Mexico, Central America, and bordering the Atlantic Ocean. The city has a population less than 500,000

I am in Nova Scotia. I am in Halifax.
Apparently Halifax supplies Boston with a Christmas tree every year because Boston sent a relief train immediately after the Halifax explosion of 1917. On December 6, 1917, the munitions sip Mont-Blanc collided with a Norwegian ship Imo. The subsequent explosion (the world's largest man-made accidental explosion) killed 2,000 people and injured 9,000. To add to that disaster, a blizzard came the next day and dumped 16 inches of snow.

In honor of his return to Legion World, I will pass this round in favor of our friend Kent Shakespeare. Where are you, Kent? (Other than back here, for which we are very, very happy )
