Seriously, I've thought about doing it a time or too. Post counts aren't important to me.
But, they are for other people and that's why I'll leave them there. Should we ever get rid of them though, the posts can be recounted and the numbers restored.

I think it would be okay but set everybody to 0, and we'd have to find a new job for Portfolio Boy.
But we'd probably find something else to count and compete over.

On second thought, wipe out all the posts and start over. It would be a very zen experience - life is transient and an illusion, that sort of thing. But then you would really hear the howls. It would be a shame to lose all this thinking, but....
Can I delete myself? In one fell swoop? I'm to lazy to go post by post, it would be interesting to be zero-houred.

Not that I don't think it would be an interesting experiment but after all the other troubles we've had lately I really don't think it would be a good idea. We might wind up alienating a few posters. How about we just keep the board stable for a while before experimenting again?

it is a BOLD proposal !!?? and i sure a few members would be upset !! if we all went back to ZERO !! or we couldn't view our count !! but i do think it would be FUN if we couldn't see our actual count total for a while !! i'm not that not hung up about having the highest post count, but i suppose i am glad i'm in the top ten, as it shows i have a presence on this board, and the more posts you make, the larger your personality is known !! [ did that make sense ?? i hope it did  ] i suppose what i mean is, as someone who grew up, with not that many close friends or wasn't the most popular kid at school !! it's nice to have found a place, that you feel such a part of, and are well liked and respected by you comrades !! ] btw ..... i just hit the 800 mark ......
