Maybe she thought leaving it to the imagination was more sexy. What a vixen!

Monstress and Element Lad - at the very end of the issues before DNA came on board, Candi kissed Jan on the cheek and he returned by kissing her on the hand and calling her "nicely eccentric". Awwwwwwww. But murder does do bad things to a relationship...

There were a couple of cover scenes from Adventure era showing couples leaving the club house arm in arm - Cosmic Boy and Light Lass, also Cosmic Boy and Princess Projectra. Just weekend flings?

Can't help but think what a great romance could develop between Brainiac 5 and Dumb Bunny.
Surely she jests, you think, but it could be a case of opposites attract, or she's so dumb he thinks she must be cryptically brilliant (like Chance Gardener of Being There). Also, the difference between her IQ and the standard likeable moron's would probably be negligable to him.

Hmm... given Brainy's traditional thing for super-strong statuesque blondes, this makes a lot of sense!

When I was making my list of Legion Legacies, I started with Legion couples that did happen, and then went on to consider Legion couples that *might* have happened, just to see if they spawned more interesting potential kids.
Brainy & Shady and Kal & Lu were definitely on my list for interesting couples that never happened.
Having seen a shot of Sun Boy coming home from a date with Laurel Kent recently, I'm adding them to the list!

Didn't Timber Wolf and Dawnstar have a little interaction some time during the Baxter series?
Then there was Brin and Marella Tao, which was interesting mainly for the Clark/Lois vibe and the welcome idea of a Legionnaire dating someone outside the Legion..

By making Lydda and Yera Legionnaires, and sidelining Shvaugn, they've really done their best to make sure that nobody in the Legion dates outside of their exclusive club, haven't they? Perhaps Harmonia Li will be the new non-Legionnaire girlfriend of someone... At least, with Lydda and Rokk on the outs, and Violet still single, there are female Legionnaires who *aren't* dating / married to a male Legionnnaire. There seems to be some weird double-standard where Sun Boy and Chameleon Boy and Polar Boy can go years without a steady (or any...) girlfriend, but when a girl joins the team, she has to be paired off with someone tout suite, with even the fiercely-independent Dawnstar and the exotic White Witch shoehorned into relationships with male Legionnaires almost immediately after their introductions. Very much a strange 'girls just wanna settle down' vibe.

Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

Very much a strange 'girls just wanna settle down' vibe. Um, what? I assume that for White Witch you're referring to her/Blok, which is just a friendship. I doubt they're even physically compatible.

Which a) completely fails to get that Blok's appeal stems not from him being a poor man's Ben Grimm, but rather a gentle alien from a completely non-human background, and b) ruins the really sweet friendship that Mysa and Blok had so that we can have another run of the mill Legion romance. I think it's a waste, he looks like a darker Colossus now and you can just tell they're setting up for a doomed romance thing when Mysa inevitably goes Dark Phoenix. Because women can't handle power. Meh.

Speaking of romances that never went anywhere, I was just looking at Adventure #9 again, the story that went nowhere (since it was continued in other books I wasn't reading), and noticed that as the universe was collapsing, Lydda first walked over and took Rokk's hand, and then they were embracing just before the end.
That's an interesting suggestion that they aren't quite as 'over' as previously implied...

wait wait...i remember reading that Blok did have romantic feelings for Mysa. He blushed when she touched him in learning more about her Origin study. And there was that implied mourning for him like lost of opportunity in the 5 year gap when she learned he died. (was sliently stated the lost opportunity thingee)

Oh, it looks like Mysa's going to go Parallax now? Once again, I am SO glad economics forced me to quit buying comics. It sounds like the Second Dark Age proceeds apace at DC. NASS! If I've heard correctly, they ruined Mary Marvel as well. And gave us back Kara Zor-El, only to turn her into Britney with superpowers. And gave us back other Kryptonians, only to turn them evil--not just a few Phantom Zone villains, but the majority. I hope I'm wrong about at least some of that.

Well, I don't think we have to worry too much about Mysa, right now. Geoff Johns was the one who started her going dark, but Paul Levitz is writing her now.
