Well, I may not be working on the Legion anymore, but I am still working!

For those who may be interested, my latest projects include a CSI mini-series for IDW called CSI: Dying In the Gutters, and the freshly announced new Star Wars series Dark Times, for Dark Horse.

More info here:
http://www.idwpublishing.com/dyinggut.shtml
and here:
http://www.darkhorse.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=9578

First issues will be out in October, I believe. Thanks for looking!

Yeah, they're definitley playing some of it for laughs. I mean, a comic convention--so many potential targets! wink

Awesome news! I'll look for them in my CS. The Star Wars one looks very cool.

As if seeing Rich being killed wasn't enough ( wink ) just the fact Ronda is coloring is enough to make me buy it. Already on my pull list. I really wish they'd list the colorist as one of the creators when soliciting books. It would make it easier for me to get all your stuff Ronda. smile

Congrats Rhonda!

First time doing SW stuff? If so, you'll like it! My time on X-wing Rogue Squadron for DH was some of the most fun I have had in my career. smile

Chip old buddy! How's it going?

Actually, it's not my first Star Wars stuff, though I guess it will be my first on going SW series. I did a one-shot called Purge, a FCBD half issue, and I've worked on 3 issues of the Clone Wars Adventures compilations. Dark Horse has been good to me!

Star Wars Clone Wars Adventures Vo.6 comes out today. Fun for the whole family! Coincidentally, 3 out of 4 stories were colored by me. wink

Oops, there has been some sort of shipping delay and it won't be out until Aug.23rd now.

I didn't know you were on Clone Wars Animated! I met the Fillibach Brothers and got them to sign my animated book and sketch me a Max Rebo! I should had you sign it to at Bucca di Beppo...

Yep, since Vol.4. Working on Vol.7 right now.

The Fillbach's rule! They were the coolest creators I met at the Con, and totally treated me like an equal, which doesn't happen much to a lowly colorist! wink They even invited us to a party at their hotel on the Friday night. It might have been the beers talking, but they were so kind and flattering to me that I couldn't help but adore them.

So who did your sketch? When I was watching them Matt did the drawing but Shawn signed it (I think I've got that right). I thought that was pretty funny! Maybe they take turns.

I got notice of my shipment from DCBS and didn't see a copy of Clone Wars. I forgot to place it on my order! Arrgghh! Now I have to go to the store and make sure I get a copy.

I think you're right that Matt doing the drawing. I think Shawn was talking to Ethen Beavers (JLU book) at the time. Here's my sketch from them:

Angel: Masks, a compilation of short stories about (you guessed it!) Angel is out this week. The story "Mystery Date" was colored by your's truly. Hope some of you will check it out.

You can see a preview here:
http://www.idwpublishing.com/newreleases2.shtml

And stay tuned for the much anticipated (well, by me anyway wink ) release of Star Wars: Dark Times #1 on Nov.8th.

Star Wars: Dark Times #1 is out tomorrow, Nov.8th. At last! This book was a long time in the making and a real labour of love; I hope some of you will check it out. I thinks it's my best work so far (I haven't seen the printed version yet, so hopefully there are no unpleasant surprises!), and the art is gorgeous! Tell your friends!

Hope there were no unpleasant surprises for you.

It looks great to me, and I'm just not saying that because I could pass the book around to all my friends at my comic shop and say "I know the colorist!"

Though that didn't hurt. smile

Got a new gig today!

I probably shouldn't mention the title just yet though, since I haven't signed on the dotted line or anything yet. It's just a 2 issue fill-in arc of an existing title, but I know it's a book that many of you here enjoy (besides LOSH of course!) wink

Sorry to tease, but I'm really pysched about it!
