I went to check in on the Legion board run by TnT and found it gone. None of my links work and when I go to the site through the link in Jolly Roger it doesn't exist in the list anymore.

Did I miss an announcement or is this just because the guys are no longer doing covers for The Legion?

Are all their message boards gone or just the Legion?

From what I can tell, just the Legion related one. The JSA and Starman boards are still there. There's a new one for DC Comics Hero which has one post (and makes no sense to me, never heard of it unless they mean H.E.R.O.). Here's a link to just the message board area.

I used to check in on this about every other day or so... The last post was titled, "Happy Holidays" and had no replies. It was only a matter of time.

Yeah, that was my post. Prior to that it was some questions I had about purchasing some art from them. We kinda did abandon ship first.

Understandable. Probably for the similar reasons that Gary hafd to trim down around here.

We did trim the message board down a bit. Some forums had been lifeless for a few months so it seemed no one would miss them. I apologise for not being around the board much lately. Life and work took over. My son was born in early January and I've been tied up with that and the new book we are working on called Ex-Machina. As for why we have a thread for H.E.R.O. is that our own JD Mettler is coloring that book. It's one of my favorites right now. I would encourage you to check it out if you are not already reading it.

As for original art sales we are selling most of our originals through this dealer.

The prices are pretty reasonable. I'm not sure why I wasn't listed as co-penciller on much of this stuff but I assure you it is the originals form the production of the books. We do take commissions as we are able.

We were thrilled to be a temporary home for LEGION fans last year and you guys will always be welcome on our boards. I'll make sure that we return a LEGION forum to our message board in the next few days. Just promise to visit every now and then.

Hey Tom. First, congrats on the birth of your son. Very good news.

Second, we totally understand and I, for one, am glad that you took our mass migration okay. We really appreciate you and Tony letting us lay over at Ships and Giggles while Legion World was being prepared.

And even though you, Tony, Chris and Chip are soon off the Legion you all provided some great covers and awesome interiors that will not soon be forgotten. I'll try to keep dropping in to see how things are going and your gang will always finds a welcome home here too.

Hopefully we'll see you and Tony at the Con in San Diego come July. I'll be prepared to buy some of those blown up covers from you.

Congrats and also I'm a big fan of H.E.R.O. and am enjoying the new art work very much.

The more I thought about it I realized it didn't make a whole lot of sense to put a LEGION section on our board. We're off the book so we really can't add anything new to the discussion on our board and as many of you said it had sat idle for some time. I'll continue to drop by here from time to time as I do now. This is after all the true home of the LEGION fans.
