*teleports in, barely-visible through his practically-opaque brown forcefield*
*activates forcefield that covers the AU in all directions, including underground*
Not enough components for any more big forcefields, let alone specialised redsun/green-K forcefields right, now though...

(OOC: Of course the attack *would* come when the computer was messed up? Grrr...)
Since Seth was leaving the room when the attack hit, he unfortunately had his back to the foe's initial attack. Though he tried to turn and do something to stop this new foe, the only good it did was to keep the slab of wall from striking the Angtuan's spine. Seth ended up buried under a pile of rubble... once again.

A Kryptonian gone wild, eh? Sounds like it's time to call in a favor.
*dials up an old pal*
Yo, it's Actor here. Sorry to call you so late but we situation that needs your special talents.
Yeah? I'll be there in a jiff. Don't start the fun without me. I'm aching for some action.
*with that the gigantic figure climbs out of bed and starts packing his bags*

*after suiting up in his best exo-suit, Actor Lad quickly retrieves Seth from the rubble*
You have to be more careful dude, take a soak in the Bacta Tank and you'll be as good as new. I have to go and help defend our fair community now but I'll be back as soon as possible!

Seth gives ActorLad a small nod, and slowly makes his way along to the medics indicated earlier.

Soon you and Actor get to run the next leadership election! That should be a lot of fun for mid/late Oct.

Well, its tradition to stick Eryk with responsibilities like this when no one else is around, so he'll gladly help you Kent Lets see if Actor's around, and if not, what Eryk says, or maybe I'll just help do the 'voting protocol' threads. (And Cru is the permanant third election runner when it comes time to tabulating votes.)

Well, I'd say you guys can run them, beginning whenever both your schedules are calm enough to get started (as I know full well they'll never actually be totally calm ). So, whenever is conveinent for you guys would be a good time to go for it! EDE has the guidelines somewhere, and Spellbinder is the permanant vote counter when we get to that point in the proceedings. (I'll try to find a link later to the guidlines for you guys...) Though its still kinda early to say it, I think its been a blast during the Actor/Kent administration and you guys have done a great job. Definately a great start to getting our old tradition back on track!

Ok, here are the guidelines we've all decided on as a group on how to conduct an election: Guidelines & Rules . The first two posts have most of it. Its in there, but to reiterate: in order to keep the election from taking over the board, the threads it is reserved for are: (1) the Election Discussion Thread, (2) the Election Debate Thread, (3) the Shout Box, (4) 'Franchise Threads' and (5) One thread per candidate to discuss the election. The people who will actually run the election are the Leader (Actor Lad), Deputy Leader (Kent) and Permanent Third Monitor (Spellbinder). Their job is to basically count the votes as they come in, and Actor has the privelege of starting the three election threads (Rules/Discussion/Debate). Example of an Election Discussion Thread Example of a Election Debate Thread Actor & Kent--its in your hands! Good Luck! If you have any minor questions, EDE, Cru and myself can give you a quick answer. Have fun!

PS - I forgot the most important part!!!
The ‘Election Tyrant’ is the ID used for people to PM the votes and the leaders to count them! What must be done is the following:
(1) Cru will delete ALL votes from the last election, so they are lost forever to vahalla.
(2) Cru will then change the password, so EDE and I can no longer log in to the Election Tyrant and see votes.
(3) Cru will then give the password to Actor and Kent, so the three of them can monitor the new election.
This is a relatively minor step, but one that needs to be done before any votes are sent in.

So we've now opened under our new name/function, welcome everyone! And Cobie I hear through the grapevine that GRL might be auditioning for something soon so you may get your wish.

An upbeat musical take of 'Grapes of Wrath' with GRL in the lead is something that I'm currently writing up a draft right now. Nobody does a better Henry Fonda than GRL!

I'm currently working on the book for "Alt Side Story", a musical telling the story of the tragic love between a poster and an alt-ID.
I'm hoping to get Frio back for this one.

Another thread I missed during my first hiatus.
I wish I'd had the chance to take in some shows here! I love how much support there is for the arts here on Legion World.
Did the community theatre ever have the chance to feature Legione dei manifesti del bordo di messaggio (the LMBP opera)?
