I don't remember any time she was leader for long? Yet she is one of the smartest and strongest personalities on the team. Cos or Brainy? How about Saturn Girl? She is a founder and has a bit of evil genius in her like Brainy. Just cut the pony tail off first. Anybody think she makes a better leader than Cos or Brainy??? Also regarding Cos I've always seen him as a big brother/father figure type. The guy that was a straight arrow and you think "what would Cos do?". But a leader? By example yes...but actual leader? nah. My campaign for Saturn Girl starts here!!!

In all Legion Eras; she was the most wondeful leader of The Legion.

NO!! Just no.
Isn't it bad enough that Cham is running around impersonating people? Plus, she'd alter everyone's amygdalas before you could say BOO!
She was not "wonderful" as leader last time she played the role in Legion Lost. Her leadership was a near-disaster, in fact.

This version seems to be overbearing with her powers as she's always been but much more in touch emotionally with people around her. The fact that she's less emotionally repressed and very willing to use her powers could spell trouble. She and Lyle seem to get Cham, unlike Cos and her boyfriend Garth.
I don't think this is a co-incidence in the original continuity weren't Cos, Saturn Girl, Brainy and Lyle the first four leaders of the Legion. I think we've seen the setup to a new version of this with Cos and Brainy portrayed as extremists and Saturn Girl and IK as the pair that eventually unites the team.

Tamper Lad as usual you are a genius. I see her in between Cos and Brainy for sure. IK is gonna need time but he may be the leader of the future.

At the centre of of the primative emotions of fear, hate, and sexual pleasure/desire. Could be interesting. Think Revolt of the Girl Legionnaires, but with the boys as submissives in fetish gear. Come we all want to see that meathead Jo get taken down a notch by Shadow Lass.

And if she can get Ultra Boy and the rest in line, that'd be great too. Yes, Tamper Lad, you are a genius! And you are too, Jorg-Em. I think this Imra would be a good leader for this Legion. I mean, if she can work well with both Cos and Brainy, then she can probably work well with anybody.

We don't know enough about her yet, IMO, to say she'd be a good leader. She certainly has exhibited a bit of deception with her power - on Rimworld, to help Garth blast Jo and with her mother. That's not in her favour for leader - especially when the Legion has to move on to bridge building and group cohesion (one hopes).

I'd rather have someone we haven't seen before as leader. Does every 'boot have to start out with Cos as leader and then a long term for Imra?
I actually wouldn't mind seeing Dirk take over the reigns.

At this point, I'd like to see Garth take the job. Giving the gig to another of the founders makes sense, and Garth would be a nice change of pace.

When Imra becomes leader in the 3boot, she should bypass the medallions altogether and order everone to wear fleshlike masks of her face over their own tired faces.

When Saturn Girl becomes leader of Legion World, she can make everyone changes their avatars to pictures of her!
"Gee, Brainy, what do you want to do tonight?" "The same thing we do every night, Bouncing Boy: try to take over the United Planets!!" They're B.B. and The Brain ...

I'm sick of Cos and Imra being leader all the time. I love Imra to death but I'd like to see her develop as a character outside this leadership role she's always thrust in.
I second Dirk as Rokk successor. He's smart, capable and to my knowledge he's never been leader before.

Dirk was only leader during the 5YG, where he ran the Legion into the ground! He deserves another shot!

EDE I forgot about Dirk. Another guy who may be on Cos' side but not by much. I would really like Dirk as leader!!! He needs the spotlight IMO.
(plus he can redeem his past life of driving the Legion into the ground when leader in v4)

Dirk might be good as leader. He appears to have lots of experience and he's obviously given (giving) some thought to what being in the Legion in means.
Personally, I favour Shadow Lass for leader - but agree it would be a good change to have someone different for leader in this incarnation.

I always thought Triplicate Girl would be a good leader, unfortunately she's not really proven herself yet to me in the 3Boot.
Maybe Karate Kid as he has 'control'?

I think Caroline would make a wonderful leader here.
What? you are talking about the comic book? Oh sorry my mistake.
Although, I think Caroline would make a good leader in the comic book too.
I think Princess Projectra should come out and assume control.

No great thread to dump this in, but I've been dealing with a client all day who's first name is Irma.
"Don't call her Imra, Don't call her Imra...." has been my internal mantra all day.

I also work with an Irma, but she's, like, four and a half feet tall and Portuguese and grandmotherly (in appearance and personality), so there is literally no chance I'll mistake her for Imra.
Irma is deceptively strong, 'though, which I'll leave as an exercise to the reader's imagination how I found that out...

In other news I cam across a Science Policy article ... and thought for a good minute it was "Science Police" .... haha ... imagine my dismay when it was an article on Science Policy.
