Stop putting ideas in our rulers' tiny little minds!
I can't wait for the mandatory "Fat Camps" that will be an inevitable result of what our fearless leaders plan to pass off as "healthcare reform."

Probably why Tenzil really went insane - nothing to do with eating the Miracle Machine - it was the emotional tumult of being accused, possibly convicted of a crime in which he was an innocent dupe.

If you age less as you travel through space at light-speed, relative to people at home, you probably burn more calories too.

That one Universo arc/story takes on a whole new level of evil if you envision his super-penitentiary as a giant fat camp. No wonder Dream Girl rebelled later on by getting chunky! Viva la woman!

Gee. If being overweight were a crime on Earth, Fat Albert would be a super-villain. And come to think of it, Olive Oil might be considered a hero just because of her build. These things just ain't right.
If the meek shall inherit inherit the Earth, then I at least want Baffin Island - and a property manager to work for me who is made of sterner stuff than I.

Makes you wonder what Tenz's first reaction upon seeing Chuck might have been.

I'd be on Bismoll's equivalent of Death Row...

Soooo... kind of like Hollywood if you're female.

[/b]Sad but true. Only overweight men who are funny ocassionally seem to find acceptance on the silver screen, while almost no large women whatsoever are welcomed (the only exceptions to the rule that immediately come to mind are Cathy Bates and Queen Latifa--but other than this, zilch).

Of course, if you're a superhero, you're probably going to be on the lean side from all the activity and training. But apart from Iresa, Chuck's fat girlfriend, most of the ones I recall were businessmen (notably R.J. Brande), merchants and politicians - who were primarily male. One funny thing is that R.J., in his 5YL origin story, was shown as a rather rotund Durlan. Odd thing for a shapechanger.
