"This morning there was an assassination attempt made on Legion Leader candidate Dev Em as he emerged from his campaign headquarters. The long time Legion member was last know n to be in serious but stable condition. More news as it develops."

I suspect it is all a publicity stunt looking for the pity vote.
After all Dev is Half durlan, whats to say he didn't shapeshift his "injuries"

"I'd like to make a statement. I was attacked this morning by some unknown force. While I am sure that this was an attempt to end my bid for Legion Leader...rest assured, I will not be pushed to the side that easily.
I'd like to warn my competition that they may to be targets of whomever did this to me."

I'll keep this brief people. As Security Chief, its my duty to let you know that we are currently doing everything we can to investigate this attempt on Dev-Em's life.
I can confirm this was indeed a genuine assassination attempt on Dev-Em, and is not a publicity stunt. Two by-standers were injured but they are now stable in Medicus Two.
We are following up on leads that this attempt is related to the ongoing leadership elections of the LMBP.
At this time, I will not be taking any questions.

A green glow appears in a small unused side room on Medicus Two.
From behind the Glow comes a voice. “Right. A simple in and out job yes?”
The voice now comes, hidden, from behind a door. “I know, Get Dev then get out”
And without anyone, or any sensor device seeing him Behind You Boy slips into the corridor and moves off in the direction of the LMBP wing.
