ok I got this in 3 volumes and in the third I added the complete who's who of the legion, Legionaires 2 substitute heroes issues and the DC christmas special. I need 4 issues before I can send it out... but they are ordered and on their way. Very exciting

I've thought of doing this over the years.

I'll be interested to see how they turn out, and if you're happy with them.

Well My legion collection alone is getting to be over 2 long boxes and not only do I not have a way to store this, but it makes it difficult to read.

I don't want to do trades because the ads and the letters are half the fun (Though I do have several Legion Trades)

Are thee the first comics you've done?

I've thought of getting something else done first to see how I like the job they do. I have 5 short boxes of Legion stuff alone at this point (including the L.E.G.I.O.N. comics. Upwards of 15+ long boxes of other stuff. Thought of getting some 12 +/-ish issue runs done in this...

How many issues have you gotten into a book?

I did like the Shel;f boxes that they have there as well.

Well my thought is that I picked up the Series 3 issues from around $0.10 - $2.00 and issue...with most of them coming from the quarter or 50 cent bins so the risk isn't as huge as binding my Superboys or my Adventures.

I am thinking of doing 28 issues in 3 volumes adding the extra stuff like the who's who into the third volume

I may try one of the Shelf Boxes out. See how many issues I can get into one...since I do not bag the books individually or use boards. I back issues back to back - two per bag total. They say the 2" boxes will hold 24 issues, so if I can get a few more in there...I may get more.

Maybe this topic would be better suited to the LSH forum? Seems Sarky would get more feedback over there anyway...
