Or will all the lurkers suck us high post count posters dry?

I'm Cobalt Kid, and even though I'm a legendary poster, I too have found myself at Medicus Two upon occassion.

But giant Healthcare bills pile up fast. That's why I use my own private physician, Dr. Mayavale. His unique techniques and procedures are sure to alleviate pain and stress.

Now imagine what he would do at LMB Leader. wink

well Cobie, in general the most frequent users of Medicus are the members and opponents of the Security Office itself. I have always assumed that there was a sufficient budget to deal with the needs of your office but if there's a chance that Medicus has been overwhelmed by the use of it's facilities then we may have to appoint a commiccion to investigate.

Under my albeit short and interim administration we have successfully overhauled healthcare. We now have universal coverage.

Healthcare for rich people and health plans with unlimited budgets like the Security Office has been auctioned off to the highest bidder so my dreamy current Beau's family business has 100 years of profits. Who needs a pre-nup when I can cancel his entire family fortune? LMB members please refer to your Medicus Prime Premium Health Watch Plan Manuals for more details.

At the same time, Healthcare for people without health plans has been auctioned off to the lowest bidder. This shows that your government is fiscally responsible. LW citizens please refer to your Medicus Basic Plan.

Not that I'm recruiting or anything but I'd like some of you to know that PCG Inc is well known among certain communities as being a well operated business where we believe in our employees and offer full medical coverage for our field agents.

One thing that is not commonly known is that we also offer an excellent benefit package to the support services people. It's rarely discussed but no super hero operates in a vaccum, Yellow and I have spent a great deal of time and capital building a network of staff and agencies that provide both cover and defense for meta humans operating within the UP.

Family coverage is also available at very reasonable rates. You would be surprised how effective as 90 foot giant can be at a negotiating table with insurance sharks. (no offense intended, Shark Lad)

My greatest fear is that I might end up at Medicus Two with a chest cold. That could be deadly!

I'll say.
I imagine those things cause you a bit of back ache too. I have an excellent masseuse on staff dearie, Juan is a sweet boy and he is SO good at working out the kinks.

We should set up a date for a girl's day out and enjoy the positions we've both worked so hard to achieve. What's the use in being rich and powerful if we don't get out to enjoy it?

That's one of the benefits to being telekinetic. My back doesn't have to hold them up smile

Of course, Cobie is always willing to help carry the load. He's good like that laugh

Dr. Mayavale no doubt has some satisfied patients. Alas, most of what I've heard while out stumping for Lardy in the LMB heartland is not positive. The usual complaint is that the good Doctor tends to concentrate on past-life diseases at the expense of present-life health maintenance issues. While this brings in big bucks for a fortunate few, it does little to advance the cause of creating a healthier populace unburdened by massive medical debt.

I urge with the utmost sincerity that LMBers look to our brethren in other systems for guidance on how to proceed. We don't have to settle for things the way they are, no matter what the big-money practitioners and their well-groomed shills would have you believe.

Thank You.

In my day it was a 'take care o' yourself' attitude. Less government involvement in yer life, the better. Don't know how that got all screwed up.

Back then, socialism was called the Homestead Act. It was the biggest government subsidy in the history of the universe, until I went to boarding school on the public purse.
