![[Linked Image]](http://www.legionworld.net/ubb/Avatars/RJBrande.gif) Although the identity of R.J. Brande became known in the pre-Crisis DCU in a mini-series called SECRETS OF THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES as Ren Daggle, father to Reep Daggle (Chameleon Boy) and was later expanded to include a time traveling Durlan, co-founder of the L.E.G.I.O.N. - the identity of the current post-Crisis, post-Zero Hour R.J. Brande is as yet undetermined. Please pick the established DCU character that you believe is most likely the post-boot R. J. Brande.

Poor R.J. He's basically akin to the Time Trapper in terms of origins and I won't be surprised if we see a whole new direction for him when WnK take over.

RJ Brande was RJ Reynolds crossed with JP MOrgan and JR Ewing!
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

"None of the above," though that's not on the poll. Why can't he be a brilliant but thoroughly mortal businessman who was born in the mid-30th-Century?

...or just choose not to vote. It's not like I write the book or anything, so the results of the poll are for fun and not for publication.

Some interesting choices. Rather than go with the obvious one, Matian Manhunter I ended up with Uncle Sam. Something else else about his patriotic instinct and passion for justice struck a cord with me.

I voted Uncle Sam as well. There's just something about him that seems to fit in well with the Legion...

Hee hee! Thanks for putting my earlier suggestion as one of the choices in the poll.

Can't be. Elvis is clearly Highfather.
This would make Pat Boone Darkseid, which makes perfect sense when you think about it.

It's official! Mark Waid and Barry Kitson asked me to help them determine who R.J. Brande really is and the 8 out of 22 people who voted determined it's none other than - = J'Onn J'Onzz, the Martian Manhunter, former JLA founder! Keep your eyes peeled for the official reveal in a future issue!
