That's our Cobie! Looking out for us at all costs!

I request an exemption for coffee, however. However will we make our Irish coffees without it? We'll need other mixers, too.

So how about banning them only when not mixed with alcohol?

Its that kind of constructive thinking that will get us through the various crisis that will assuredly occur if I were to be elected leader!

As long as it's an interesting crisis, I'm there!

an abandoned office! how quite convenient.

These Legion Worlders apparently treat real estate quite disposably.

Good.

That will make it much easier to remain hidden.

The windows are already newspapered over and the door latched; a simple enchantment will make it look like they are still so.

Now, a few more spells to further avoid detection, and we're in fine shape indeed.

Really, Legolas? Did you actually imagine that you could hide from me?

No, Doom Bringer. Of course not.

You forget so easily - I know all there is about you. It was my job to keep track of you for centuries on end.

and I know you.

I know that you cannot abide by...

(pauses for dramatic effect)

...Barry Manilow!

(on vocal command, seven hidden boom boxes all start blasting "Mandy.")

(Doom Bringer reels in agony, while Legolas dons specially enchanted gloves for fighting the Undead and starts pummeling him)

You're so used to scaring the Nass out of people, you really don't even know how to fight? Do ya, punk?

<Falls Backwards for a second, amazed that Legolas dares to resist him. Then lashes out with a bolt of mystic energy that drives Legolas away from him.>

You Dare! Worm! You Dare Attack ME!?!?

[Note: Anti-Barry Manilow Magic Activated at the first note of the horrid song...]

(with distance between them, Legolas activates a 70s disco lighting system and a holographic image of Barry Manilow appears, signing and dancing right in front of Doom Bringer.)

(Doom Bringer must summon every bit of concentration to ignore the sounds and sights before him; once he refocuses he is alone - and there is no further trace to follow.)

(Moreover, the entire room's enchantment, he discovers, was not designed to hide Legolas - but rather to prevent any magickal being than Legolas from leaving)

(On the wall, Doom Bringer reads:)

Welcome to my trap, my friend. I hope you like it here; th spells will keep you contained in this room for a year and a day.

<Looks the room over with Magical Sight.>

A neatly constructed box, Legolas. But one that I'll be out of in time to watch you hang.

<Pulls a small hideous charm out of his sleve and crushes it. A tiny sprite appears.>

You can fit thru the woven spells. Find Barley Horn, guide him to me...

It's rather astonishing to me how much more I like 'Legolas' on these threads since he changed his avatar!

How come, I wonder?
