After about three glasses of Aunt Ida's Lemonade, you might want to sit down on this lovely sopha.

Perhaps we should assist Mr. Nostalgia, Ms. Quislet. Would you be so kind?

I've just rowed in across the lake. It was dreadfully hot and I started to perspire. As you might well understand, I had to take off my starched chemise . I apologize for my bare, sweat-streaked chest and glistening abdomen. Would one of you kind gentlemen fetch me a towel ... and a glass of Aunt Ida's fabled lemonade?

Oh dear, judging by how your abdomen is heaving you seem to have been extremely exhausted by your journey. Allow me to assist you in freshening up my dear Mr. Fellow.

Perhaps you could wipe me down ... with a cold towel, Mr. B. Oh, dear, is that Aunt Ida coming down to the dock in her wheel-chair? Wipe quickly, Mr. B.

Oh Mr. Fellow, although Aunt Ida thinks so very highly of you, I fear you may not be able to recover from the exhausting heat in this state. Permit me to assist you to one of our cooler bedrooms so you may recuperate in quiet.

Perhaps you would like me to draw a bath for you as well? It wouldn't do to refresh yourself while your firm body is still suffering the effects of heat-induced perspiration.

Oh you are much too forward Mr. Brainiac. A chaperone's place is to be seen, but not be involved (unless absolutely necessary to preserve a person's honor)

I fear that Quis did not closely inspect the gentleman's wherewithal before allowing this encounter to proceed.

Why Mr. thoth lad, I believe the Mr. Brainiac is a fine young gentleman who comes from a respectable family. If you have information to the contrary, perhaps we should retire to the library to discuss this in private.

And abandon our charges Mr Quislet? Surely we must remain to imagine what they could be getting up to, to all the better prevent any such eventualities?

What mischief could they get up to in the parlor? I mean it is chock full of glass knick-knacks, hummel figurines, and antique Ming vases.

Mr. Quislet is such a gentleman, defending my hobor amidst some rather distressing insinuations.

Oh dear, I feel faint...

My goodness, Mr. Brainiac, let me help you to the sopha. Care you for a small glass of Aunt Ida's Special Lemonade? It will have you feeling your old self in no time.

I have asked the maid to bring some of Aunt Ida's lemonade to the library, Mr. Quislet. In case you get thirsty. It is so important to keep properly hydrated, is it not?

Well well, Mr. Brainiac, I do so find a man who knows to keep one's guests properly hydrated to be a most generous and endearing host. Indeed, I should invite you over one summer's eve to enjoy my maiden aunt's homemade elderberry wine as we discuss topics of interest between us.
