So I met Kent yesterday and Abin last year.

At that speed, I will have met all you at least once by the time I'm, uh, 205 years old?

Seriously, there's no reason I shouldn't at least meet Rick at some point! Maybe I'll show up at his house-warming party!

I'll be in Manning this Saturday for an afternoon wedding, if either of you guys wants to meet for lunch. It would be a meet-up virgin threesome, n'est-ce pas?

I saw some Facebook-y stuff over the past couple days that has me all excited again about the whole concept of LW meetups so... since it's been about a year and a half since I posted my list and I've had a whole boatload of new adds, I think it's time for an update.

Man, I don't know how long I can keep us this EDE Alt ID charade! Someone is going to want to meet him sooner or later!

Half-meeting? Is that like through Skype?

I thought a half meeting was when one party saw the other and ran for it.

Now I'm curious as to which half he met...

The slower half

Clearly I met the part that was "half-full".


No... per the first post... a "half-meeting" was one of those strange occasions when - prior to joining Legion World - I happened to find myself sitting next to some Legion fan at a comic convention, only to later realize that they were a "known" person here on LW.

In Caliente's case, it was San Diego, 2008, when I was sitting there in a Geoff Johns panel - surreptitiously checking her out - as she encouraged the guy sitting next to her to go up and ask a question. The fellow finally relented, going up and asking, "Say, Geoff... when you write 'Legion of 3 Worlds'... is there any chance you could have Superboy Prime punch Dream Boy's head off?"

I started cracking up and - afterwards - had to go up and express my appreciation to that young question asker. Turns out, it was a young fellow filled to the brim with moxie, named.... Cobalt Kid.

I never did get the chance to chat one on one with Cali, however... though she did later Facebook-friend me.

The only other person that had, until recently, fallen into that "Half-Meeting" category was Suddenly Seymour, but - considering that, this past summer, I: hung out at his house; accepted a cookie that he baked for me with my own LMB logo; spent the whole day touring around his city with him; and capped it off by going out for ice cream - I figure he deserved a promotion.

Caliente, on the other hand... well... I hear that California is lovely in springtime.

At least, being Facebook friends, it'll be pretty easy for you to set up a full meeting now

And that question is so very Cobalt Kid. I believe he was also one of those who led the charge to convince DNA to kill Monstress off - sadly, I would rather have had the Dream Boy killing be the successful one

Of course there's more to Cobalt Kid than character death crusades...um, isn't there? I'm new...

My official count of zero Legion Worlders met has increased to one! An increase of infinity percent, thanks to Exnihil!

Such a momentous occasion surely will send waves of altered continuity rippling through local spacetime, so be sure to hold on to your butts!

What ancient secrets could be unearthed during this cosmic conjunction? What sleeping demiurges might emerge, mewling into the void, slick with amniotic plasma from the hearts of stars? What overwrought hyperbole will Set vomit forth next? Can Chester actually turn invisible? Stay tuned, for the next episode of Soap!
