...will Geoff and co bring this to its logical conclusion?: hypertime Legion teams from the many and varied continuities drafted into battle. It would be a natural way to combat the Fatal 500 - play them at their own game - and give the current era a fittingly momentous send off.
I really want this era to go out with a bang not a fizzle.

I think if we get a Legion 500, the reboot era team will simply get lost in the mix.

True. But it could make for a great splash page!
C'mon. Picture it:
Spark: We're done for *choke* Cos: Don't worry, I called in some reinforcements (using a convenient plot device that was lying around. Legion Flight ring probably :-)
Next page: EVERYBODY comes charging in.

Oh, yeah. I forgot about the Interdimensional Threshold tech they'd incorporated into the flight ring...

I wish we'd get something like Bruce is talking about, but likely we'll either have everyone get slaughtered (save for the Titans, who flee the battle) or have some messed up, Brainy-deduced conclusion where they decide to erase their own timeline to protect all the others.

Oh heck, the Flight rings don't need the inter-dimensional upgrade for that plot device to work. Remember? The Persuader is indiscriminately chopping holes in the fabric of space/time (or something like that)
Shoot, for all I know Valor's going to fall out of one screaming about Glorith killing his doppleganger...or saying he killed the Time Trapper...or have Tasmia in tow from "End of an Era" (plenty to work with there) hell I don't know.
I think we could have a cast of thousands before the last page is done. I am looking forward to it.

Isn't that exactly what happened in that Time Trapper story arc during the PMS years?
It sounds like a good idea but it was terribly poorly handled then and I doubt that in one issue they'd have the room to do the idea justice here either.

Do the idea justice? Heck, I just want my splash page!
Eryk: my Legion Flight Ring has Interdimensional Threshold tech (and a washer/dryer). Doesn't yours?

IF the flight ring can suddenly serve as a transuit (as it did in the Teen Titans issue), THEN why couldn't it open thresholds too. But, Yellow's theory about Legionnaires pouring through the rips in hypertime sounds cooler.

Sad thing is guys, we KNOW it will fizzle. I mean, it's in the Titans book fer crying out loud. It's not going to have the send off we want because there's simply no room in the book for it. But I agree: I hope we get an awesome splash page...oh, and bandjam.

maybe Raven will use her teleporting soul powers with Saturn Girl and Kid Quantum (HAVE to use the panel hogs) to call down the troops
(personally, i think if any Legionnaire deserves to use 'teleporting soul powers', it's Tyroc, but he doesn't exist anymore, right?)
(Shikari will be to the side insisting she could have 'found the way' too, but Imra will have a speech that will cloud other's memories of it)
of course, it would be just as fun to call in ONE amalgamated version of the Titanic Legion from different eras (of both teams) -- don't even identify who they are - just leave it to us to figure it out
