Hi, I have heaps of blanks in my collection and I was just wondering If any of you kind people could answer any of my questions..

1.Is there any issues that focus on Karate Kid's and TimberWolf's Friendship. Timberwolf goes to all that trouble to plant that flower on that planet and regards him as his best friend in that exact issue. Is there any specific issues I can read into their friendship.

2.What was Sensor Girl's Powers?

I'll be back with more!!Thanks

1. Not really any specific issue; in fact, I think this friendship was sort-of retconned in by Levitz. In the stories, Val was shown to be closer to, say, Dream Girl than Timber Wolf.

2. As Projectra: the creation of fantastically-real illusions. As Sensor Girl: The same, to the Nth power, plus some other stuff I didn't really understand but thought was totally kewl anyway.

Sensor Girl basically had complete control over the senses, both of others (which allowed her to project illusions) and her own (which were extremely enhanced).

I haven't read much Legion before Levitz but the impression I got was that Brin and Val were great friends. Ofcourse Brin missed Val's wedding which really sucks...but Brin didn't seem like a guy that likes weddings anyhow (though he was bummed if I remember correctly).

The issue with Brin fulfilling Val's will I thought showed that they had a good friendship. In a way Brin and Val's friendship is like many others. I've had buds I was great friends with...we met girls...we got older...had kids...we talk once in a while. smile

Wow! Thats kinda disapointing! That was such brillant issue, maybe the friendship happened behind the scenes.

Hmmm, I have that issue. Brin was at the Wedding??? He was really bummed out about breaking up with Ayla. Thats the annual drawn by Dave Gibbons right???

Change of plans - if Sensor Girl had been Supergirl, she would have lost all bar her vision powers, but they'd have been real. They were just retconned as illusions.

My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't think Sensor Girl's illusion powers changed in any way. It was just that she used them better and the fact that no one knew she was using illusions against them.

Her other power was something like the ability to "see the the illusions of the universe". That was vague, but I would look at it like clairvoyance (since she had awareness of things happening elsewhere).

I can't even think of a storyline that heavily featured Val and Brin together, yet I can recall more than 1 that feature Val teamed with Nura. Maybe Dream Girl should have planted that seed! laugh Might have been pretty interesting.

They were probably placed together heaps, because they were like the original Odd Couple. DreamGirl the most superficial character, while Karate Kid is quite the opposite, quite a Deep character.

I'd guess it's more a matter of Val being the ultimate tough guy and Dreamy being the ultimate girl in trouble, at least until Levitz got ahold of her.
