My interest in this book just went up by about 1,000 percent.

I'm wary.

# 80 was my final issue... the book had become unreadable. And at $4 a pop I felt like DC was stealing from me.

Do keep me posted if I should check something out though.

If that is who I think it is, I will become someone's slave!

I never was a big fan of Lilith, really. I just didn't get her. And I'm not sure that her and Raven on the same team makes much sense. They serve the same niche, narratively.

Much like the last few iterations of the Justice League, I feel as if they keep putting out Teen Titans books just to say that they have a Teen Titans book, and have not captured anything that made the book worth reading back in the day for a long time.

Instead of foisting the property off on a new writer, maybe they should let it rest for a bit, until someone who has a brilliant idea for it *wants* to revive it?

I'm with Lash. Bringing back any one character, no matter how much I like him or her, is not enough to overcome poor storytelling and the unreadable mess that is Teen Titans.

No, but it is a start of a slow process...and at least it would be a start.

And honestly, it is a start that will get me reading again, unless it's a prank or a joke

Down plummeted my interest in this title. Sorry to raise anyone's hopes or expectations.

Don't worry ML - I also thought with rapturous excitement that it was Lilith on that cover when I first saw it too. :lilith: :omen:

And though I dropped that entire franchise about 3 or 4 years ago and have not missed it one iota since - bringing her back would have been an absolute lock at getting me to spend money on it again!

But when I looked at it closer I decided it was probably just Traci 13 (and though I kinda like her, she's not enough to get me interested in that mess of a book again).

To hear it's some completely new character is even less exciting to me.

What's not to get? She's a red-head who sensibly wears green, loves go-go dancing, is unlucky in love and has parent issues. She's the perfect teen character!

So who was that character anyway?

She's new, apparently. That's all we know.

well .... that's kinda a gyp cause she looks just like Lilith and it's not like those pages are from X-men.

Like I said, at least Krul was smart and nice enough to tell us it wasn't Lilith instead of:

A. Going "maybe she is, maybe she isn't."

Or

B. Not saying anything at all, and when the Lilith fans expecting her back bought Teen Titans and learned it wasn't her they'd get even more pissed.

Yeah, he deserves props for clearing it up now, instead of using it as a selling point. Although, creating a character that looks that much like her is a strike or two against him.

I know absolutely nothing about what kind of person Krul is. I don't even know if his last name is pronounced "cruel" or "krull". I shouldn't be making any misconceptions about him based on how horrifyingly abysmal and soul shattering Rise was. But currently, revealing it wasn't Lilith is the only nice thing I can say about him.

That and his super-sexiness as well as cool shirtwear, of course!

I don't think anyone in their right mind would be able to live with a last name pronounced "cruel".
