I did this tonight for you all. This is a great site and it's my "thank you" to Abin for introducing me to it. Here are the pencils first. Here's another shot of the pencils And here are the clean inks. I don't do much with varying line weights when I'm going to directly color the piece. I let the color do the depth work for me. I didn't do Kid Prime's face as I haven't seen a real-life photo of him/her yet. When I get that I'll finish the art and color.

Ohmygod, Mr. Artist, that drawing is so not sucky its incredibly wonderful! No wonder Gramps says your art could make a turd in a punch bowl look good.

Thank you for the kind words folks. As soon as I get Kid Prime's RL pic and clean up a few errant lines I'll scan and color this. I would love to have Angelfish take a crack at this. Love his colors.
I'll also post my self-portrait soon. Cartoon Lad is taking shape.

How fun! First we got all those cool micros of everybody's character and now there's a new artist turning real life into Legionnaires. Only on Legionworld This has to be the greatest site on the internet for fans to interact.

Thanks to all for the lovely comments. I have been trying to find a picture of Kid Prime so I can finish up the B&W lineart before coloring. Since noone has been forthcoming with his picture I can only assume that there isn't one handy. Could someone instead describe him to me and I'll just do a generic face. Of if necessary I'll just put a big metal faceplate on and negate the face altogether. Thanks

Jeff had uploaded pictures to the site in the past, but has since removed them. I'm not sure if he wants his face on the Internet, so I'd give him a faceplate.

I'm with Gary. I looked but all of Jeff's pictures were removed some time back. I'd say a faceplate is the best way to go.

Okay, a faceplate it is! I'll finish that up and attempt to scan it tonight. I don't have a full size scanner yet so have to scan it in pieces and stitch it. Once the B&W art is digitized to my satisfaction I'll also color by hand the original with markers.
Updated art soon.

Wow!
I am completely amazed and honored.
I've been wanting a LMB costume for some time, and that's... well, that's just awesome. It's perfect.
Thank you so much!
White. A blank page or canvas. His favorite. So... many... possibilities.

Um....I dont mean to get Snippy, But I actually designed the Kid Prime costume : lol... Nevertheless, cool pic
Remember : It's not technically a suckerpunch if you yell ''DEFEND YOURSELF SPROCKER!'' two seconds before you let him have it.

Some people are like slinkys: not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you knock them down a flight of stairs
