Thanks, Varalent. Actually, I don't have anymore to add. I purposely did Garth, but not Jan. Also, I blatantly didn't include the non-humanoid Legionnaires. But, did I forget anyone?

I've long-pondered what color Tinya should wear besides white. The white is tired but I disliked her in red and blue.
Well my question is answered-- black is where it's at!

These are beautiful! I especially like Umbra and Kinetix!
I think T Wolf and Gear are the only ones you're missing (though you might add Chuck in as well!)

Very cool stuff. Kind of sinister. It might make a good alternate reality fic.

Wow Dean! I echo what everyone said!
I also liked the way you grouped them together - it seemed to be very natural, as if those groups of three would be friends - whether the 3 founders, the 3 heavy hitters...nice to see Tinya without Jo... Cham and Brainy with their great friend (or whatever) Lyle... did you consciously group them as you did?

Dramatic, sexy as all hell, great body language, not quite as sketchy this go-round. Very satisfying and a real portrait pleasure! They'd need colors to tell a story about them, but the other extreme is intriguing.
I only wonder whether "vinyl" would have persisted to that time. Even as a catch-all word for all materials that are like what you seem to be portraying: infinitely closely fitting to the body, but (unlike "spandex") not really stretchable.
To me, it looks more how they'd make black leather behave, which would be far more comfortable. They may have gotten out of the habit of using organics by then, though.

Two more notes ...
What's the deal with Ferro? Has he simply given up on clothing, since he can't get out of his metallic form? (A wise choice.)
And I'm glad you're still able to get MyWebpage.netscape.com working for your files. It conked out on me many weeks ago, not allowing any control graphics to handle the file contents.

DL,
Very nice! I have to venture to Legion Worlds more often as I am absolutely amazed with how many great Legion pics are here.
Great renderings!

I agree that Tinya is the best of them. Brainy too is tremendous. Funny how Jo in leather has always kind of appealed to me - as a concept - but here it doesn't push the right buttons. Thats nothing against your drawings Dean they are really great, it's just I don't think he suits that look
Legion Worlds Ten - the final chapter is here. Find out the ultimate fate of our fantastic future friends.Only found in the Bits o' Legionnaire Business Forum.
