I did this at lunchtime today. I don't think it's exactly right (I think I got too much black shadows on the costume), but it's my first try.



Tried a little color after I got home

Good work, Cru. So you like the new light Lass uniform, too?

I do like the new Light Lass costume. I was using the one from the preview for reference, and was thinking that I made the top too short. However, after re-looking at the first issue preview we saw, it looks like it got shorter since the Special preview, so I guess I was closer after all

Other new costume favorites so far: Star Boy, Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad, Phantom Girl and Dream Girl. I think Princess Projectra might be cool, too, but I'll need to see a bigger pic to be sure.

I sorta like Shadow Lass' new costume, but it's feeling a little Underworld-y to me. I dunno. I think it will grow on me.

The costumes I like least are Brainiac Five and Element Lad. I like Saturn Girl okay, but I think I would prefer the more maroony/purpley color of her Legionnaires 3 costume, rather than the red we see in the Preview. I like Triplicate Girl's costume okay, but I'm not feeling the cape. It kinda looks like she tied a blanket around her neck.

Most of these costumes, though, I'll really need to see more examples of to be sure of how much I'll like them. With some of the poses from the preview scan, you really don't get a good look at them.

Lovely as ever, and I really like the face, it's look and the way you drew the hair, it's primo!

I think it works better in colour. The face seems to have more expression in it and the blues of the costume give the whole pic an uplift.

As always i remain amazed at the talent of people here on LW

Nice pic, Cru. Did you mean for her lips to be white?

Actually, they're a pale pink, but I guess once the pic was changed from a tif to a jpg the colors faded a little.

Or maybe it's a 31st Century Frost Colored lip gloss
