These are nothign to do with the Legion but are an idea that I had knocking round my head for a while and I wanted to get down on paper. There's a vague possibility that properly lettered inked and coloured versions might be used for something next year (not these exact stories, but the characters at least) but in the meantime here they are for people to enjoy. Not exactly Not Safe For Work, but they are slightly risque at points.

Very funny Bevis. Great characters. Too bad Samuel bought it.

This is more stylized/toonier than normal for you, right?
I like it!

It is more cartoony, yes. In fact it's kind of the style that i really started drawing in when I was first getting back into comics since I was much more influenced when I was growing up by the likes of the Beano and Leo Baxendale and his imitators than I was by US comics. Doing Oddcases and Queen of Diamonds I got out of drawing in this style unless I was doing something really quick and jokey. But I kind of got back into this style when I did Finland, Finland, Finland and it's kind of gone from there. It's the style I'm likely to be using on Dashing Tales with Tony Lee and Dan Boultwood next year (depending on the stories that I end up drawing). It's kind of different from what people expect from me but (at the moment at least) I'm not sure that it's not teh style that I should be moving more towards.
