Heya,

A friend and I are working on a Legion costume retrospective and I need references of all the costumes for the Legionnaires... I know this will be ALOT of costumes, but ANY help would be appreciated. For me I'll be making all of the gals, he'll be making the both sides.

How about the only pic I know of that has Kent Shakespear in his full Impulse costume?



Strangely it was in a panel in the Timberwolf mini series just before Zero Hour. IIRC there are other panels of Kent wearing his costume shirt but this is the only one that shows off the leggings he wore in costume...and you still don't get to see the boots

Amazing - I had no idea there were so many costume changes - even if some were one-shots. Interesting project!

Hopefully today I'm gonna get some more done. I'm supposed to go to where ahm making my house, but watching the weather, can't go out there in the rain. I've found some more oneshot pics of Saturn Girl and Violet... one is BEAUTIFUL...

PS: I'm not making micros anymore, I just make these minis.

I saw them, I was came to post, but I couldn't get through for some reason.

They are mungo cool, the Luna is awesome, but the Tempest takes the cake.

And as for the Viv, I am jealous that people have that kind of patience to do that kind of shading, it drives me nuts.

woah, i hope you're working with a magnifying glass in a well lit area, those are TINY! Awesome!

Your research is impeccable, White Raven. I don't recognize a lot of those, espeically in such subtle variation.

Great job!

Some of those are from the animated series (different appearances), the comic, the Mr. Mzamplix (whatever his name is), and one issue suits. Not to mention some pinups.

I'm sure any difficulties in "reading" this come from your wanting to include a lot of information in a small space, and largely succeeding in doing so.

In any event, I'm having a hard time seeing the differences in most of Dawnstar's looks, even with its being blown up (using IrfanView) to twice its size. Changes in fringe and forehead decoration are apparent, but if you meant to show changes in "lacing" (the criss-crossed ties at leg and cleavage openings), these are a little small to make such details quite distinguishable.

Also, I believe the bat-winged nightmare version was a variation on Dawnstar, from the many-Legions-at-once v4 story, not on "Bounty."
